Episode #8 Air date: October 30, 1979 cast: Ruth Buzzi, Rodney Helal, Les Lye, Jono Gebert, Christine McGlade, Kevin Somers, Kevin Schenk writers: Geoffrey Darby and Roger Price director: Geoffrey Darby In this holiday episode, T.H.E. Television Network is having a Christmas party, but the kids are not invited. Mr. L. Nickleson Dime III decides to play Santa Claus at the party, but the costume department sends an old Scrooge costume instead of a Santa outfit. So Mr. Dime goes to the network Christmas party as 'Santa-Scrooge'. A first on network television! Lots of presents are being given out, but most of the time, it's not what the kids wanted. The show's writers pair up Kevin Schenk with Rodney, and Jono Gebert with Kevin Somers for some helarious dialog about Santa Claus and about how to sneek into the network Christmas party. After coming up with some outlandish ideas, everyone finally decide the best way to get in to the party is to 'ask Moose - she'll get us in'. Features many great sketches with super-talented Ruth Buzzi. Truly classic television at its best! Roger Price and Geoffrey Darby are indeed comic television pioneers! pie: Les, Jono, Kevin Somers, Moose, Kevin Schenk, Rodney quality: "A" This is a copy that I received in trade.
